The Dunajec Gorge is a spectacular stretch of the river which winds from the Czorsztyn Lake for about 8 kilometres between steep cliffs, some of which are over 300 m high. The raft trip through the gore attracts thousands of tourists every year. The raft itself is made of five narrow, six meter long canoes fixed together with a thick rope. Each of the rafts can take from 10 to 12 passengers and is steered by two raftsmen dressed in traditional costumes and armed with long paddles.
